This website is designed to provide Producers, Production Managers, and Accountants with convenient access to DCL's standard guidelines, program forms, discounted deals, and other relevant information you will need to successfully and efficiently complete your projects. It is also intended to explain the procedures used at DCL and how they affect your production. You are responsible for the completion of your contractual agreement with DCL. If there appears to be a conflict between the information on your contract and the information in this Production Guide, your contract will take precedence, and you should contact your appropriate DCL Project Team (i.e., Executive Producer, Business Affairs Account Exec or Production Manager).
As a corporate service, Production Management’s support stretches across all platforms to ensure basic program elements are available to all DCL business units. New technology allows us to serve you more efficiently by providing updated information while eliminating redundancy in the workflow. It is our sincere intention to provide easy access on-line to the materials you will need to create and submit as part of your deliverable requirements.

Directions for Registration:
If your company is currently contracted with a DCL Network or has been contracted with a DCL Network in the last 2 years and you wish to have access to the PMD Guide, please follow one of the 2 steps below. If you would like to submit a program proposal to a DCL network, please return to the Producer's Portal Homepage (producers.discovery.com) and click "Submit an Idea" on the right-hand side.
- If you have already registered for eSubmissions to submit a program proposal, you will NOT need to register again. Please contact your DCL Production Manager and request access to the Guide.
- If you have NOT already registered for eSubmissions, click on "Register" in the menu on the left side of this page. It will take you through the steps. Upon completion of the registration form you are told that you will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 hours; however, your status must be approved by your DCL Production Manager. Therefore, the confirmation email may take longer than 2-3 hours. Please be assured that you will receive a response and there is no need to resubmit a registration form.
